Privacy policy

This explains what TCG Store collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, under the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect. When you order: your name, email, phone number and, for delivery, your address. When you send a message: your name, email and what you write. When you browse: anonymous visit counts (the page, the town you're in, phone or computer). We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't keep your internet address.

Why. To fill and deliver your order, tell you about it, answer your messages, and understand which parts of the shop people use.

Who sees it. Our staff; Stripe, who process card payments; and our courier, for a delivered order. The online store is run on Choice Hub, which stores it for us. We don't sell or share your details for marketing.

How long. Order records are kept for at least seven years, as tax law requires. Messages and visit counts are kept for no more than a year or two.

Your rights. You can ask to see the information we hold about you and to correct it. Contact us and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
